If there two or more players with the exact same winning high hand it becomes a tie with the players that have the same highest hand.
A-A-2-2-K ties A-A-2-2-K
In some poker games it would go by suit. For instance an ace of spades beats ace of clubs in a tie with the ace. But not in texas holdem. Suits only are used for high carding for table position or extra chips in a tie pot.
Ace of spades beats Ace of clubs
If Two or more players have the same ranked hand then the higher of the two wins
AA = 1 Pair and KK =1 Pair
AA is higher than KK.
The same concept applies to all the hand ranks. If two players have a straight ....the highest straight is the winner.
6-7-8-9-10 beats 2-3-4-5-6
